Speaking out for the first time since his son’s arrest, Chris Brown’s biological father, Clinton Brown, tells PEOPLE his son is at home, reflective and filled with concern.
“He’s reflecting on this situation,” Brown, 44, a corrections officer, tells PEOPLE in an interview at his home outside Tappahannock, Va. “He’s very remorseful. He’s very concerned about the situation and he wants to make sure that [Rihanna’s] okay.“
Sontelle who also hails from Barbados talks about Rihanna in a recent interview with Digital Spy. She tells them it doesn’t bother her that she is being compared to Rihanna, there is no rivalry between the two of them, & even goes on to talk about the first time she met Rihanna at cadet camp.
Being an attractive young woman from Barbados who sings R&B songs, are you fed up with being compared to Rihanna?
“It doesn’t bother me at all. There’s so much curiosity and intrigue surrounding us because a lot of people didn’t know about Barbados before Rihanna. People are so fascinated that this girl just came out of the blue, and then not too long after I came out of the same place. Also, if you’re going to compare me to Rihanna, how can that be a bad thing? She’s gorgeous, she’s on top of her game and she’s the biggest popstar in the world right now. I don’t mind being compared to that, it’s a compliment!”

By now, you’ve heard Rihanna missed the Grammy Awards, perhaps because she was the victim of boyfriend Chris Brown’s rage.
Kalyn Porcello, 21, a student at Bellevue Community College and a third-generation jeweler with her family’s 57-year-old business, paid for last-minute tickets to the awards show and made a road trip out of it with friends, mostly to see Rihanna perform.
“Heartbroken” herself at Rihanna’s troubles, she came up with this idea: custom-designing Rihanna a 14K gold diamond necklace from her family’s store, “so the singer does not go empty-handed on the day of love, Valentine’s Day.“
Porcello Jewelers of Seattle has been working around the clock to put the finishing touches on the necklace, said spokesman Brian Arnold.
