After just one season on the schedule, Rihanna’s FENTY x PUMA collection will skip showing at next month’s New York Fashion Week. Instead, the singer’s subbrand will build out exclusive pop-up shops in New York to mark the launch of Fenty’s fall collection.
On Sept. 6, Fenty by Rihanna pop-ups will open at Bergdorf Goodman and Footlocker’s prestige retail concept Six:02. The even better part is that Rihanna herself will be there to shop with her Navy!
Both shops will have a 24-hour exclusive on the collection – both shoes and apparel – before distribution goes wide on Sept. 7. Six:02 opens its first Manhattan store on 34th Street next week.
Among this season’s Fenty launches are styles including a sneaker heel, a sneaker boot and sneaker boot wedge. Pricing for these designs could not be obtained. Previous Rihanna Fenty shoe designs have incited a craze amongst consumers, who have flocked to Puma’s web site and specialty retailers in search of creeper, slide and trainer styles. Many of the designs are known to sell out within hours of their release.

Check out lots of HQ photos from last night’s Video Music Awards at Madison Square Garden! Don’t forget to watch all of Rihanna’s performances and the iconic award speech.
Rihanna was truly all smiles after performing not one, but FOUR times at last night’s MTV Video Music Awards at Madison Square. She both opened and closed the show, where she held the most beautiful award speech while holding the trophy for the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award.
Rapper and singer Drake showed up to introduce the award with the most kind words – “We love the music, which can change styles from album to album. We love the videos which change their artistic vision from year to year. But most of all, we love the woman who hasn’t changed from day one.
“She’s someone I’ve been in love with since I was 22 years old. She’s one of my best friends in the world. All my adult life, I’ve looked up to her, even though she’s younger than me. She’s a living, breathing legend in our industry.”
Watch Rihanna’s and Drakes speeches below, as well as all of the four performances after the jump.
