Rihanna took the stage at last night’s amfAR LA Inspiration Gala to honor and present Tom Ford with the AIDS group’s Award of Inspiration. Watch her speech above!

Tom Ford brings the same sophistication and talent to everything he does, whether he’s transforming the origins of Gucci, or creating and building his own now iconic brand.

Throughout his career Tom has been committed to give back to the community. He has been, and continues to be, a dedicated supporter of the fight against AIDS.

Over the past 20 years Tom has been honored with every major fashion award there is; recently he received the Geoffrey Beene Lifetime Achievement Award at this year’s CFDA Fashion Award.

Tonight we honor Tom Ford for both his incredible talent, as well as what he stands for. We honor him for inspiring us with his creative genius, his leadership, his integrity, and generosity. We honor him for doing good while making us look good.”

Rihanna attends the amfAR Los Angeles Inspiration Gala

Last night (Oct 29th) Rihanna attended the amfAR Inspiration Gala, to present Tom Ford with the AIDS group’s Award of Inspiration in recognition of his support in helping battle the decades long AIDS crisis.

“Tom has inspired so many aspects of my art over the years, not to mention his clothes give me a real bad attitude,” the singer exclusively has said. “His commitment to the cause and commitment to amfAR is truly admirable.”

Rihanna looked absolutely breathtaking in a Tom Ford gown at the red carpet arrivals to the gala, which was held at Milk Studios in Los Angeles.

In the live auction that was held during the evening, Rihanna bought a pair of Harry Winston diamond link earrings featuring 72 diamonds set in platinum for $35,000, and $100,000 on the vintage photograph “Elizabeth Taylor at the Eden Roc”.

After promoting her brand new perfume “Rogue Man” in Atlanta, Rihanna flew back to Los Angeles.

Today Rihanna promoted her very first fragrance for men, “Rogue Man”, at Macy’s Lenox Square in Atlanta.

A limited amount of lucky fans were given the opportunity to meet and take a photo with Rihanna, who looked beautiful in a black outfit by Adam Selman.

E! News exclusively interviewed Rihanna during the event, who explained how excited she was to make a fragrance for her male fans:

“My fans are insane. They just do incredible things, they show up at crazy places at random times. They bring their family members, their friends, it’s all exciting.”

“I’m all about the ladies so this is one time I get to do something special for my men, but the ladies still get to enjoy it. All my male friends have it. I tested on them first. I also sent it home with my girls to test it out on their boyfriends.”

“That’s what I love about fragrances, it draws people in and also creates memories and makes things stick and certain emotions are evoked through it at certain moments and you remember it.”

“Rogue Man”, which has top notes of black pepper, rosemary, clementine and bergamot, is available now at Macy’s.
