People Magazine revealed today that Rihanna is the 2014 Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) Fashion Icon award winner. Read below:

When we think of Rihanna‘s style, the first word that comes to mind is fearless. The singer isn’t afraid to take some major risks on and off the red carpet. So it’s no surprise the CFDA will be celebrating her creative sartorial choices by honoring her with the 2014 Fashion Icon Award.

“We are proud to present Rihanna with the CFDA Fashion Icon Award for her impact on the industry as fashion’s most exciting ambassador in recent memory,” CFDA CEO Steven Kolb said in the announcement.

This August, Eminem and Rihanna will be co-headlining a series of stadium shows for The Monster Tour. The tour will kick off in Los Angeles on Thursday, August 7 at the Rose Bowl with shows then lined up in New York City Area’s Metlife Stadium on Saturday, August 16 and Detroit’s Comerica Park on Friday, August 22.

Tickets go on sale on Friday, March 28 at 10:00 AM local time through the Live Nation mobile app and at www.livenation.com.

Beginning today, Wednesday (March 19) fans can visit (http://bit.ly/MonsterRSVP) to RSVP for early access to presale tickets available at 10:00 AM local time on Saturday, March 22.
