If you haven’t read the post below, we’ll give you a quick catch up. The award for “Viewers Choise” on the BET’s last night was incorrect when Tiffany Green announced the wrong name and instead of Rihanna she said Chris Brown. But afterwards, Chris turned out to be the real winner all along! Could it be the new technology or is it just Tiffany?

  • @Rihanna #RihannaNavy thank you for proving what I tell the world everyday! Nobody fans go harder dan YALL!!! Thx 4 pickin that up @drakkardnoir 1LUV

Rihanna didn’t even attend the 2011 BET Awards but she’s a part of what will undoubtedly be the night’s most talked-about moment.

BET made a major snafu while announcing the winner of the fan-voted Viewer’s Choice Award. A fan chosen to present the award announced Chris Brown as the winner of the award, but it was quickly announced that it was an error and Rihanna was actually the winner for her Drake-assisted chart-topper, “What’s My Name.” Drizzy accepted the award and noted the awkwardness of the moment in his speech. To make matters more awkward, Chris Brown was the rightful winner of the award all along, and, after many rage-filled tweets from fans to the network on Twitter, the show’s host, comedian Kevin Hart, cleared up the mistake on-air.

So how does an awards show make an error so large and embarrassing? Simple. By having humans run it. At least that’s what BET’s Stephen Hill is blaming.

“That BET Awards Viewer’s Choice mix-up was due to human error. And I was the human that made that error,” he said in a tweet, before offering his apologies to “ALL affected.”

RiRi wasn’t win-less last night. She walked away with Best Female R&B artist, while Brown took home three other awards to go along with his Viewer’s Choice trophy.

  • “Rihanna’s the one for me”

The ‘Foolin” singer Dionne Bromsfield is on a record label run by her godmother Amy Winehouse, but while she takes guidance from her, she’d most love to sing on a track with the ‘Love the Way You Lie’ hitmaker.

She told BANG Showbiz: “I’d like to collaborate with Rihanna because she’s a massive icon. Eminem’s amazing as well. But Rihanna’s the one for me.”

For the moment however, Dionne – who is poised to release her second album ‘Good for the Soul’ on July 4 – will have to make do with sharing a stage with her icon as they are both on the bill for this year’s V Festival.

She added: “I found out I was playing by looking on the website! I went last year and it was wicked so to be able to play this year, I’m really looking forward to it. I’m most looking forward to seeing Rihanna, that’ll be brilliant.”

  • Green Quits Rihanna’s Tour

Cee Lo Green has quit as Rihanna’s opening act on her Loud tour over fears his busy schedule will affect his performances.

The former Gnarls Barkley star has been supporting the Umbrella hitmaker on her concert dates while also juggling his commitments on U.S. reality TV show The Voice as well as work on his new album and book.

The singer has now conceded he is working too hard and has decided to leave Rihanna’s tour.

  • When putting together a show of this caliber, everything is in the details: from choreographer Stephanie Roos’ mind-blowing dance routines, to Rihanna’s own custom technicolor wardrobe. More than any other footage we’ve seen, this video reveals just how HUGE and complex the Loud operation has to be.
