Apparently, Rihanna planned to record a duet with British singer Elly Jackson – but the project was shelved after the Feb 8 incident.

La Roux singer Jackson has been approached by several “big artists” about a collaboration, including Nelly Furtado and hip-hop stars N.E.R.D.

Rihanna also made inquiries about working with the Bulletproof star – but the plan collapsed when the Umbrella hitmaker went into hiding after Brown assault.

Jackson tells Britain’s NME magazine, “I’ve had three or four offers for collaborations in America. Big, big artists. Rihanna was very interested for a time… That was weird. My A&R (artists and repertoire) man said, ‘Rihanna’s gonna call!’ That was the last I heard of it. She didn’t call! It was around the time of, er, troubles in her life. To be honest, do I really want to work with Rihanna? Not really. I’m more interested in what the phone call would be like.”

The main girl in the professional life of Taio Cruz is now Rihanna. Taio has prepared some merry songs for the Barbados girl, pushing her from the dark sound of “Rated R”.

“There is a big writing camp with 50 other producers writing for Rihanna’s next album.

“They have hired out 20 to 30 different studios and had everyone in there collaborating, switching people around. Each person did about six or seven songs. It doesn’t normally work like that but she’s a huge artist.

While the artist is busy on tour and promoting the last record the label are out getting all the songs ready for the next album.  As soon as Rihanna will be available from her tour, they will start recording the new songs.

Taio has also revealed that they’re working on some more “traditional perky pop for Rihanna instead of the “hard edged” Rated R, and he also said he hopes to get in the studio with RiRi’s BFF Katy Perry for her new album.

OMG!if Rated R is a great album, then what will the next be?!

Her own hits are the only ones Rihanna’s wowing the crowds with on her Last Girl On Earth tour; she’s adding some cover songs.

Perhaps inspired by her mentor Jay-Z’s unifying cover at Glastonbury Festival a couple years back, Rihanna decided to take on the Oasis hit “Wonderwall” during her performance in Zurich, Switzerland Monday (April 19).

UPDATE – Rihanna rushed to the hospital because she was exhausted and had an injured rib.  She’s fine!
Her rep says that she “had an injured rib and went to have it looked at to be sure it was nothing serious, and it wasn’t,”

Perez Hilton Reports:

“Reports say Rihanna was rushed to the hospital on Monday night after her performance in Switzerland!

RiRi was rushed to the Hirslanden hospital around midnight for an “unknown condition”, but was on her way back to the venue by 3 am.

Reps for the hospital have confirmed that Rihanna was at their emergency room Monday night but “do not know the details.”

Sounds like it wasn’t anything too serious if she was out in 3 hours!”

It seems like she’s fine, she performed yesterday.

The artist so called H*Wood describes how he want his girl to be in his song “Could It Be You”. He wants her to have hair like Rihanna’s and wants her to dance like Lady Gaga. I heard this song on Goom Radio, and just had to post it! Damn, every guy wants a piece of Rihanna!

I like a punk rock chick with hair just like Rihanna
Like a gogo girl who dance like Lady Gaga
And the girls they start to party
So baby could it be you? Could it be you? (x2)

I like them girls
Girls who dont care
Sweatpants or stilettos it don’t matter what she wear
Girls that like to party
Girls that like to dance
Girls that get it poppin’ but aint looking for no? man

The song came out earlier this year, and it’s gooooood!
