Rap sensation Drake has laughed off reports of a romance with single singer Rihanna – insisting their collaboration is strictly professional. Rumors about their relationship came when they were spotted together in New York, just after the termination of relations Rihanna and Chris Brown.
But Drake – real name Aubrey Graham – insists they’ve been spending time together, while he tries to convince the Umbrella hitmaker to record a duet for his next album. He tells the New York Post,

“We’re just really good friends. We have great conversations about music, and we’re trying to figure out the perfect song we can collaborate on for my album. I’ve only worked with one other female before (Mary J Blige). I hope that Rihanna is onboard, and I’m also looking to work with Sade.”

Sugababes have dashed hopes of a superstar recruit to the band, saying Rihanna won’t be joining the group after all. Participant group Amell Berraba (Amelle Berrabah) admitted that the girls were stunned by reports that the R & B star Rihanna is now the best friend of the band. Internet was full of rumors that Rihanna helps choose songs for their forthcoming album, and may even join them soon.
Amelle said:

“We have never actually met Rihanna. Everyone thinks we are best friends, but we don’t know her at all. Keisha was talking to someone and mentioned that Rihanna had been recording with Stargate, who had just finished working with us. Stargate did play her some of our songs and she loved them apparently, which is great, but that’s it. We don’t know her at all. So she is not going to be the fourth Sugababe. We are quite happy as we are, thanks.”

R&B singer Chris Brown spoke exclusively with CNN about his arrest and sentence for assaulting Rihanna. You can watch the full interview on Larry King Live, Wednesday August 2nd at 9 p.m. ET.

LOS ANGELES, California (CNN) — Pop star Chris Brown has admitted guilt and apologized for assaulting his then-girlfriend Rihanna in February, but he does not remember hitting the singer, he told CNN’s Larry King.

Looking at police reports about the incident makes him feel like he’s reading about a stranger, Brown said in his first television interview since the arrest.

“I’m in shock, because, first of all, that’s not who I am as a person, and that’s not who I promise I want to be,” he said in an exclusive interview that airs Wednesday night.

Rihanna did not go all rocker chick until her ‘Good Girl Gone Bad’ album. She dyed her hair black, cut it into a short and edgy hairstyle and had star tattoos placed behind her neck and ears. Due to these sudden changes, many folk had realised that overnight, Rihanna had completely transformed herself into Canadian pop rocker Fefe Dobson. Coincidentally, Fefe was also once signed to Rihanna’s current label Def Jam before they mutually split due to creative differences. Rihanna’s sudden transformation was quite dramatic but she insists it was all her idea. Somewhere down the line I feel she had some help especially since her image went from mini Beyonce to edgy punk rocker chick. Anyway, Fefe was asked about Rihanna swagger jacking her style and the 24-year-old made it known she was very aware of it.

“She [Rihanna] is supposedly a fan of mine. I try to take it as a compliment. It gets a little much when she starts getting the same tattoos as me but overall I just want people to separate the image and listen to the music” ~ Fefe Dobson…
